GoPro Hero 4 Black Time Lapse – Road Trip to Montreal Canada

Road trips are always fun and time lapse videos are always fun so when the opportunity to take a road trip to Montreal with a friend of mine came up, I made sure the batteries on my GoPro Hero 4 Black were all charged up and ready to go. After I packed up all my camera gear including my GoPro Hero 4 Black and my GoPro suction cup, I headed over to my friend’s place. We hopped into my friends car and I set my GoPro Hero 4 Black to time lapse mode and stuck it, with my GoPro suction cup, to the windshield of my friends car and pushed the shutter button as we drove off. I set the time lapse mode on my GoPro Hero 4 black to take a photo every 2 seconds, which is usually the setting I use for time lapse video whether I’m using my GoPro Hero 4 Black, my Nikon D750 or my Panasonic GH4 cameras. I used my GoPro Hero 4 black for this time lapse, instead of my Nikon D750 or my Panasonic GH4 because it’s obviously much smaller and with my GoPro suction cup I could just stick it to the windshield and not have to worry about it. Although the reflection in the windshield wasn’t horrible, I guess because of the direction we were travelling and it was early in the morning, it probably would have been good to use a polarizing filter on my GoPro Hero 4 Black, I’ll have to get one someday soon. I think we made it all the way to Montreal without changing the battery but I don’t remember for sure, I do know that I had a 64GB card which had no trouble handling everything the GoPro Hero 4 Black was throwing at it. It turned out to be a beautiful day for a road trip to Montreal, which I hope turned into a fun time lapse video to watch.
