Nikon D750 Time Lapse – Food Photo Video Shoot in a Montreal Studio

If one time lapse video of a photo / video shoot is good then two time lapse videos of a photo / video shoot must be better right. Well that was the thinking at this food photo / video shoot we did in a Montreal studio. After setting a GoPro camera, I think it was a GoPro Hero 4 Black, to time lapse mode and hoisting it up on a light stand to photograph one time lapse video, it was down to the floor to set a Nikon D750 to film another time lapse of us setting up all the camera and lighting gear in the studio and us filming and photographing some delicious looking food. The GoPro Hero 4 Black is a little bit easier to set to time lapse mode than the Nikon D750 is but just a little bit. The Nikon D750 intervalometer can be a little intimidating at first but once you get used to it, it’s very easy to use. I’m pretty sure we had the time lapse mode on both the Nikon D750 and the GoPro Hero 4 Black set to take a photograph every two seconds, which seem to work well for me in most time lapse situations. The photo video shoot went well and I’m very happy with both time lapse video although, as you’d expect, the Nikon D750 time lapse does look quite a bit better than the GoPro Hero 4 time lapse.
