The Millennium Bridge or Millennium Foot Bridge, London England
London England is a city where the historic and the modern intermingle comfortably and where both are celebrated and respected. This mixing of old and new is one of the things that makes London Great. A perfect example of the new and modern side of this union is the Millennium Bridge or, as it is officially known, the Millennium Foot Bridge. Built to mark what else but the Millennium, the Millennium bridge spans the river Thames the allowing pedestrians easy access to either the north bank of the river near St Paul’s Cathedral or the south bank near the Tate Modern.
