Warwick Castle Warwick England
The opportunity to visit Warwick Castle presented itself while we were in England so we took it. Warwick Castle is located in the town of Warwick, along the banks of the River Avon. Warwick Castle was originally a wooden motte-and-bailey castle build by William the Conqueror in 1068. In the 12 century Warwick Castle was rebuilt in stone and due to the castle’s strategic location in Warwick it became an important safeguard against rebellion in the Midlands.
