bokeflo.com is my website where I make posts that are related, to varying degrees, to Photography, Videography and Cinematography, Travel and YouTube…And most likely Ice Cream… And quite possibly Chocolate.
bokeflo is the merging of the photography term
bokeh (Japanese pronunciation: /boke/): the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the blur, in out-of-focus areas of an image, or “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light. From the Japanese word boke, which means “blur” or “haze”, or boke-aji, the “blur quality”.
and
flow (English pronunciation: /fl?/): the action or fact of moving along in a steady, continuous stream
Why bokeflo? I don’t know, I guess it sounded good and I could get a dot com domain with it so why not. I also have a thing for shallow depth of field, in photography, videography and cinematography with a beautiful bokeh, so there is some relevance to it. The other reason is that my name is the same as a famous Australian swimmer and he dominates the web with that name.
