Victoria Memorial and Buckingham Palace London England
There is a lot to see in London England, and in particular there are a lot of monuments and memorial. Of those monuments and memorials the Victoria Memorial located in the Queens Garden just outside the gates of Buckingham Palace is certainly one of the grandest. Sculpted by Sir Thomas Brock, construction of the Victoria Memorial started in 1911 as part of the remodelling of the facade of Buckingham Palace and was completed in 1924 as the last bronze statues were installed. As it’s name would suggest the Victoria Memorial is in memory of Queen Victoria, one of the longest reigning monarch in English history.
