GoPro Time Lapse Flight Home From Rome Italy With Delay on Airport Tarmac
I always enjoy making GoPro time lapse videos from airplanes as they take off from one airport or land in another and although I was sad to be leaving behind the beauty of Italy and our family and friends who live there, I was looking forward to making another GoPro airports and airplanes time lapse video. It was with that thought that I boarded our Air Canada flight at the Leonardo Da Vinci Fiumicino Airport in Rome Italy, set up the GoPro camera with my GoPro suction cup in the window over the wing of the airplane and waited for our flight to take off. And waited. And waited. My GoPro was taking a photograph every 2 seconds but we weren’t going anywhere and I considered turning it off until we started to move there was a lot of activity on the tarmac with other airplanes coming and going and the airport ground crew rushing around. So although our airplane was delayed leaving Leonardo Da Vinci airport in Rome Italy and we were stuck on the airplane for an hour while it sat waiting on tarmac of the airport, it did give me the opportunity to get some more time lapse photographs of the airport ground crew.
